Pierce-Eislen: seasonal rent surveying, Fall 2013

Sedgwick is hiring! Employee based, customer service.

Sedgwick is hiring!

Who is sedgwick?

They do Claims Managements Services for their clients. Agents are responsible for assisting and filing claims for these customers.

What type of positions do they offer?

Sedgwick offers customer service positions from home, full time, which is a telephone related position.

Employee or IC?

This is an employee based position. This is great for those of you who need more of a stable schedule and have taxes taken from your pay. They also offer benefits such as healthcare.
However this may not be beneficial for those who need flexibility.

What is pay like?

They do not offer pay information on their website or job ads. I have researched and found that agents are very happy with what they make. They likely sign disclosure agreements as to why information can not be found from agents. I have found some implying over $9 or $10 an hour.

Qualifications

The customer service positions require a high school diploma or GED and at least one year customer service experience. Note you do not have to be in a specific city.

They do offer more positions with higher qualifications on their website. They recently added their customer service position on Ideed.com which you can find below.

Good Luck!

Make money from home testing websites!

Usability Testing Sites: Make money testing websites!

A good way to make some extra money and have it add up quick! I have come across a few companies that have agents testing their clients sites for money. Here is information on one with more to come soon.

Usertesting

What do you do?

Web site owners will pay to see a real person using their site so they can grade how user friendly it is. You use an online video recorder that records what you are doing on one of those sites and then you answer some questions. That's it!

What does it pay?

Earn $10 for every website tested and $15 for mobile tests. You are paid through Paypal.

What is required?

You do not need a webcam like many other Usability testing companies. All you need is a PC or Mac, Broadband Internet and a microphone or telephone to record your voice.

If you want to do the Mobile testing you must have either an iIpad, ipod, iphone, Android, Android tablet or a Windows phone. You will also have to do a sample test before being excepted for mobile testing.

Note: You must be at least 18.

How to apply?

All you have to do is sign up and complete a short sample test. Sign up on their website at usertesting dot com and click on "be a tester" at the top right.

From the research I have come across I found many testers being happy with the flow of work. I am in the process of starting and will post at a later date my own stats.

Good Luck!

Hi Moms! For those of you who follow my blog, as promised I am going to start posting about great deals that I find. I have already posted some great back to school sales that I researched from some top retailers. Check that out if you haven't read that post yet. Here is another deal that I researched and I am very excited about for us work at home Mommy's.
I came across an awesome book on Amazon for the entrepreneurs in us. Super Moms Inc! Its all about Working From Home, Building A Profitable Home Business, And Finding Time For Your Family When You Have Kids To Take Care Of! Us work at home moms certainly know how crazy our schedules can get and as far as I'm concerned any advice from a knowledgeable source is completely welcome.

So this book is rated at almost a 5 stars from many reviewers which I always take into consideration when ordering a product. If many people out their are happy then you can feel rest assured that you are buying something of value. I pretty much will never go through with a purchase if the item has lots of negative reviews. There will always be some in the bunch but many of them makes me nervous.

Back on subject. I have done my research with the reviews and as said the book has outstanding positive ones. I have also found that the author is a work at home Mom herself who has been at home for many years. She has been working at home around four children. Now that isn't easy, as us work at home Mommy's know!

The book is on sale for just a little over $10. It is also available for Kindle.

Grab yourself one today while they last. I ordered mine and will post my review as soon as I am done Reading it. I am super excited about this book. I hope all my followers, and all Moms, who dream at being a wahm land that job that makes that happen!  Happy reading and enjoy being an at home Mommy!
